April Fool’s Day
April 1, in many Western countries traditionally an occasion for playing tricks. This custom has been observed for hundreds of years. The purpose of April Fool’s day is when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other. The jokes and their victims are known as “April fools”. The earliest known historical reference to April Fool’s day occurs in Dutch poem published in 1561, which predates the adoption of the Gregorian calendar by some 21 years. Pros: You get to prank people. Cons: If you prank people, you get prank back.
