St. Patrick’s Day
· For Catholics, Episcopalians and some
Lutherans, March 17 is the Feast Day of St. Patrick. For the rest of us, it’s
St. Patrick’s Day a midweek excuse to party until we’re green in the face.
· St. Patrick’s Day celebrates the Roman Catholic
feast day of the patron saint of Ireland. St. Patrick died on March 17, 461
· Designate a sober diver or have an alternate
transportation plan before the party begins.
· The
color green is closely associated with Ireland, the Irish, and St. Patrick’s
Day no matter where it is celebrated.
