Final: Part 2

A.         What I like about this class is that we learn different medical careers that I did not know about. Also I get to write goals I want in my life which is good.

B.          Trying more so I could type with seeing the key board.

C.           Yes I did my best this class because I really want to past all my classes. I think I have an A in this class because I do all my class work.

D.          I read my life planning 100+ goals every day and I write goals too.

E.           I will commit to be a ctr person because I just want to the best in life, become successful in life, and be a better person.

F.             I will not get mad a lot and go back to boxing so I could relax when I’m mad or stressful.

                   Final: Part 1

My showcase was good I think. In my group  only two other students and I did the presentation. My English teacher gave us 6 students in a group. Mrs. Ross told us that we did very well. The entire question they ask we answer it. It took us a week to finish the power point; i know we forgot to put pictures on the power point and we did not remember some things that we needed to say. The good thing was that we had flash cards.  A least we finish the finish the power point and we did the presentation on time just the three of us.

Diagnostic Radiologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Involves the use of radiologist machinery to assess internal structures and thus identify medical conditions.  Combines the imaging results of a patient’s organs, bones, and tissues.

Salary: $61,000

Education: Four year bachelor’s degree program. Must complete four years of medical school.

 

For my long week i went to the LA Auto Show on thanksgiving day all my family came over to m,y house.  i also when to the park with the family and will play baseball. On Saturday i went to party in San Antonio Texas i h had fun. Thats pretty much i did on my Thanksgiving week.

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties of a dental assistant are among the most comprehensive and varied in the dental office. Performs many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Taking and developing during dental radiography.

 Salary: $23,550-$47,580

Education: Academic programs at community colleges, vocational schools, technical institutes, universities or dental schools.

Reflection: No I wouldn't like to be a dental assistant because I’m not inserting in that.

Dental Lab Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains and improves patient’s oral health by fabricating fixed and removable prostheses according to dentist prescriptions. Their duties are replaces partial or total loss of natural teeth by constructing partial or full dentures. Restores natural teeth by fabricating crowns and bridges.    

Salary: $24,835-$60,621

Education: Four-year baccalaureate program in dental technology.

Veterans Day is November 11. Veterans Day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War I to honor US veterans and victims of all wars. The holiday started in 1919 when President Wilson proclaimed November 11 to be Armistice Day.  All federal offices and many schools and businesses are closed in observance of the holiday.

Reflection: It’s good that we have this holiday because we can give thanks all the veterans and the men and women who still severing.

Dance/Movement Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Dance/Movement therapist are use movement and dance to enable personal, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, physical and social integration and development.

Salary: $40,000-$50,000 a year

Education: Master’s degree, dance degree, recreation therapy, and Bachelor of Arts in psychology.

                     

Reflection: I would not like to be a dance/movement therapist because I would to be something else.

Yoga Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Yoga Therapist helps to guide students in yoga though a variety of postures, asana, and breathing. Instructors provide hands on direction to make sure students are performing movements properly and applying breathing techniques.

Salary: $36,900-$66,530

Education: Most Yoga Therapist requires fitness professionals to earn certification in their specialties. Yoga teaching and integrative yoga therapy classes are offered at naturopathic colleges, community colleges, fitness centers, yoga centers and yoga studios. Individuals seeking more formal training may pursue a degree in a related field such as physical therapy, nursing or general fitness before completing a yoga therapy training program.

Duties and Responsibilities: Are evaluating the performance of staff nurses, providing feedback and mentoring, developing education programs, contributing to staff professional development, interviewing and hiring nurses and medical staff, developing department budgets, and maintaining inventory of medicines, equipment and supplies.

Education:  Bachelor Degree

                              

Reflection: I would not like to be clinical because it’s a lot of work and I’m not inserting of being clinical manger.

Chromotherapy or Color Therapy

Duties and Responsibilities: Color therapy id the positive effects of colors to balance the body’s energy centers or chakras. Is classified as a vibrational healing modality. A therapist trained in color therapy applies light and in the form of tools.

Education: A diploma correspondence course of ten lessons.
